About the role
MSS Security is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to join our team in Cairns.
The successful candidate must hold a current NV1 Clearance and will have the opportunity to work within a qualified and supportive environment. This position is offered on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and radio communications to maintain site safety and security.
- Manage visitor and contractor access, issue passes, and assist with site entry requirements.
- Respond to customer enquiries and communicate with emergency services and other stakeholders when required.
- Conduct foot patrols, record incidents, complete paperwork,
and maintain accurate records using computer systems.
Skills & Experience
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must hold a NV1
- Certificate II or higher in Security Operations
- Current QLD Security licence
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Must be available to work a 24/7 roster without restrictions
