RESIDENTIAL GARDENER – ON-THE-ROAD ROLE

Pay: $40 per hour, including travel between jobs

Hours: Up to 45 hours per week available Location: Melbourne, Victoria

We are looking for an experienced and extremely reliable residential gardener to join our on-the-road gardening team. This is a comfortable, well-organised role with consistent work, paid travel time and a fully equipped company van.

You will be paid $40 per hour for all working time, including the time spent travelling between scheduled jobs. We can provide up to 45 hours of work per week, including paid travel time.

THE ROLE

You will travel between residential properties and complete general garden maintenance work. Typical tasks include lawn mowing, edging, whipper snipping, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, garden clean-ups, leaf blowing, green-waste removal, mulching and basic planting. You will be provided with a van containing high-quality professional gardening tools and equipment. Our goal is to give you everything required to work efficiently and produce excellent results.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

Proven professional gardening experience is essential. You must be extremely reliable and punctual. You must respond promptly to calls and text messages.



You must communicate immediately if there is any issue affecting a job, customer or schedule. You must be confident using common gardening tools and machinery. You must be able to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality. You must take pride in leaving every property clean and presentable. You must treat customers, properties, vehicles and equipment with respect. A valid driver licence and safe driving history are required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is an experienced gardener who wants dependable hours, strong hourly pay, paid travel time and access to excellent equipment. You should be comfortable working independently, following a daily schedule and communicating regularly throughout the day. Reliability is the most important requirement for this position. We need someone who attends every scheduled shift, arrives on time, responds to messages and can be trusted to complete jobs properly without being repeatedly chased or reminded.
