Role Overview
Based at our Ormeau site, we are seeking an experienced National Service Manager to lead our Taylex Services operations across Australia.
This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of our service function, ensuring customers receive high-quality support while maintaining compliance, safety, and operational excellence. You'll lead a team of Service Technicians, coordinate service schedules, provide technical guidance, and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the national service team to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality service outcomes.
- Coordinate weekly and monthly service schedules to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Oversee the servicing, maintenance and performance of wastewater treatment systems, pumps and associated equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to Service Technicians in the field.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues relating to wastewater treatment and irrigation systems.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company WHS policies and procedures.
- Ensure service activities meet relevant environmental regulations, legislative requirements and licensing obligations.
- Manage QBCC-related matters, including complaints, rectifications, defects and dispute resolution processes.
- Liaise with councils, shires, plumbing inspectors and regulatory authorities regarding product applications and compliance requirements.
- Monitor service performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and customer outcomes.
- Work closely with internal teams including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with customers, distributors and key industry stakeholders.
- Support business growth initiatives by providing technical and operational support to distributors and customers.
- Ensure professional workmanship, excellent customer service and consistent service delivery standards across the team.
About You
- Current Australian Driver's Licence, with the ability and willingness to travel and work from other locations across Australia as required
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing service or technical teams.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, plumbing infrastructure or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and deliver outstanding service outcomes.
- Experience handling complex issues, troubleshooting technical problems and driving practical solutions.
- Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory and environmental requirements.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers, regulators, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Commercially minded with the ability to support growth initiatives and identify business opportunities.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, with a professional and proactive approach to work.
Desirable
- Licensed Plumber, Drainer and Gas Fitter.
- Land Capability Assessment qualification.
- Wastewater / Sanitation Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience supporting distributors, dealer networks or regional service partners.
- Exposure to large-scale infrastructure, civil, environmental or water treatment projects.
