Our Client is a specialist piling and foundation contractor providing design, manufacturing, installation, and certification services across civil, infrastructure, marine, and commercial construction projects. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and innovative foundation solutions throughout Queensland.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable 2nd Class Welder to join our growing fabrication team in Underwood. Working in our in-house manufacturing facility, you will be involved in the fabrication, assembly, and repair of steel components used in piling and foundation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- MIG welding and fabrication of steel components
- Assembly of piling and structural steel products
- Cutting, grinding, drilling, and preparation of materials
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings




- Repair and modification of steelwork and equipment
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment
- Assisting with quality control and ensuring workmanship standards are met

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience as a 2nd Class Welder
- Competent MIG welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret basic fabrication drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
- Construction White Card (desirable but not essential)
- Forklift licence (advantageous)
