· Afternoon shift: MON - FRI 3:30pm - 12:00am + O/time with 30% shift loading

About You:

You are looking for a new challenge, and want long term job security and have;

- Australian recognized 1st Class Machinist trade certificate
- Have experience within our industry or willing to undertake training to achieve experience
- Minimum 3 years in trade experience as a cylindrical grinder.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and capability to deliver quality work.
- Experience in working within and supporting accredited Quality Systems (such as ISO 9001).
- Australian Driver's license C Class - as a minimum
- Good mechanical ability/aptitude
- High regard for safety in the workplace
- Able to work in a team environment
- Have pride and attention to detail in their work
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and resilient

Tasks:

- Complete delegated tasks under the supervision of the designated senior staff member.
- Interpret engineering drawings to determine method and sequence of operations and machine settings.
- Prepare hydraulic rods for re-chroming.
- Finish grind hydraulic rods to desired surface finish specified on relevant drawings.

Applicants must either be Australian resident or have a valid working business visa.

Pay: $28.00 – $45.00 per hour

- Grinding: 3 years (Required)

Licence/Certification:

- 1st class machinist trade certificate (Required)
- Driver Licence (Required)
