My Zakaya is a warm and welcoming Japanese Izakaya-styled restaurant in Surry Hills. We are looking for an experienced dishwasher/kitchen assistant who can work 5 days per week. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a restaurant (essential)
- Strong understanding of Japanese cuisine, food preparation, and presentation
- Reliable and committed to scheduled workdays
- A team player with robust attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to work minimum 6 months
- Be able to commit on Wed, Thur Lunch, Fri, Sat and Sun Dinner time.
What You'll Do:
- Kitchen assistance, including cooking rice, food preparation, and supporting other chefs
- Dishwashing and cleaning duties
