Griffin Marine is a leading provider of marine services to Defence and commercial operators. Our CAIRNS TEAM is growing and seeking Trade Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist tradespeople with various tasks such as maintenance, repairs and installations
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with PPE requirements in an industrial environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
- Utilise hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced professionals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines
- Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Skills and Experience:
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work 38+ hours per week
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
- Previous experience using hand tools or power tools (Desirable)
- Valid Confined Space, Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift and Fire Sentry tickets (Required)
- Possess an OHS Construction Induction - White Card (Required)
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Ability to hold and obtain a National Police Clearance and Defence Common Access Card (DCAC) (Required)
