RRC Australia are searching for an experienced Transport Co-Ordinator to join our Client's transport team, in an ongoing, casual role, with a temp-to-perm position available for the right candidate.

Our client is an industry leader in Plastic Manufacturing and the position is for an ASAP start.

The purpose of this role is to assist the Despatch Team who efficiently and cost effectively move finished product to and from vendor and company sites, receipting raw product, optimizing the use of transport resources to meet and surpass customer service targets whilst adhering to legislative and company requirements.

This is a 4 day role, working 10 hour days.

- Strong literacy, numerical and negotiation skills

- Data analysis/interpretation skills

Knowledge

- Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, minimum Cert III level preferred, or 3+ years in a similar role.
- Road Transport rules and regulations and other relevant legislation;
- Knowledge and understanding of ferrous and non ferrous scrap metal transport options as well as processing techniques;
- Knowledge of applicable systems including KMI, Talcasoft, MEX
