Extend Home Health Care is a growing NDIS Registered Provider based in Yokine, WA. We are committed to delivering high-quality disability support services and are seeking a dedicated Accountant/Finance Officer to join our team.
This opportunity to become part of a small, supportive organisation where you will play an integral role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Processing payroll and ensuring accurate employee payments
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Preparing and issuing invoices
- Performing bank and account reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Preparing financial reports for management
- Monitoring cash flow and supporting budgeting processes
- Managing taxation, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes
- Managing superannuation and payroll compliance
- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes
- Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance position
- Robust attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using accounting software (Xero experience highly regarded)
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
