The AIN (Social Support) provides support which considers the residents physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs and which enables residents to maintain their own wellbeing and independence for as long as possible. This includes engaging residents in a range of diverse social, recreational and cultural activities that are tailored to residents’ individual needs, goals and preferences.
Reporting to Lifestyle Co-Ordinator, this position plays an integral part to the culture of our Home and the health and wellbeing of each one of our residents, including staff.

The Opportunity on Offer
As the AIN (Social Support) you will ensure the delivery of person-centred care and services to all residents in activities of daily living in accordance with the residents’ choices, needs and preferences.
How you will make an Impact
· Delivery of personalised personal care and services to residents in the home in collaboration with resident choices while maintaining a high standard of care
· Resident engagement and satisfaction with social, recreational and cultural activities including the ability to provide ongoing feedback.
· Ongoing resident and staff partnership on developing social, recreational and cultural activities.
· Assist in providing and maintaining support to assist with residents with behaviours of concern e.g. dementia
About You
You are an individual with a caring nature who gets satisfaction in making a positive difference in the lives of our residents everyday. You enjoy working in a team where no two days are the same. You are excited to share your ideas and make a contribution to the wider community.
Requirements:
· Minimum Certificate III/IV in Individual or Ageing Support
· Current NDIS Workers Screening check
· Computer literacy
· High level of written and verbal communication skills
· Previous experience working in residential aged care. And where required Medication Administration experience (good to have)
