About Gaza Ridge Health Centre

The Gaza Ridge Health Centre is located on Gaza Ridge South at Bandiana near Wodonga. The Albury Wodonga Military Area consists of 3 barracks and is home to the Army’s Logistic Training Centre, Joint Logistics Unit Victoria and Schooling in various areas. This is a large base providing services to over 5000 Defence Force members. The health centre provides primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care. There is also a 20-bed low dependency ward which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.



The standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).

This role is primarily every Monday within a multidisciplinary healthcare team from 7:30 am – 3:30 pm.

What you’ll do

- Supporting dental procedures through chair-side assisting

- Preparing and maintaining clinical equipment and treatment areas

- Promoting oral health and supporting patient care

- Maintaining infection control and hygiene standards

- Managing patient records and supporting administrative tasks

What you bring

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification

- 2 years chair-side experience in a dental clinical setting

- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification

- Strong understanding of infection control and clinical standards

- Great communication skills with a caring, team-focused approach
