About CBRT:

Community-Based Rehab Team is a locally established private practice (since 2020) delivering community-focused allied health services across Alice Springs and surrounding remote regions.

Our approach is inspired by the Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) framework developed by the World Health Organization, focusing on improving quality of life, promoting inclusion, and supporting individuals and families within their communities.

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team in a full-time capacity.

Based in Alice Springs, this role offers a unique opportunity to work across a diverse caseload while contributing to the development of a high-quality speech pathology service.

You will also have the opportunity to travel to remote communities across the Northern Territory, including iconic locations such as Uluru.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments

- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans

- Provide individual and group therapy across all age groups





- Manage a varied caseload including communication and swallowing disorders

- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

- Contribute to the development and growth of speech pathology services

- Participate in community engagement, outreach, and education initiatives

About You:

- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology

- Eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia

- Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Sound clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities

- Passion for delivering person-centred, evidence-based care

- Willingness to travel to remote communities

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
