Venue Manager – Li'l Darlin

We’re looking for a hands-on and energetic Venue Manager to lead one of our lively Li'l Darlin venue in Sydney. If you love cocktails, great food, building a strong team, and driving a profitable operation in a fun, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Li'l Darlin is known for its colourful cocktails, delicious tapas and pizzas, and a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. You’ll play a key part in keeping that magic alive while taking real ownership of the day-to-day running of the venue.

Key Focuses

- Deliver outstanding customer experiences by leading a team that engages guests and exceeds expectations every shift
- Support and develop team members through regular training, coaching and feedback
- Closely monitor COGS margins to protect and improve profitability
- Drive monthly sales performance and tightly control operating expenses
- Proactively manage labour costs to achieve or beat wage budget targets
- Maintain a safe, compliant,



clean and well-presented venue at all times

What You’ll Be Doing

- Leading from the front — jumping in on the floor or bar when needed and setting the standard
- Driving sales through excellent service, team motivation and smart promotions
- Managing rosters, recruitment, training and team development
- Keeping tight control on costs, margins, wages and end-of-shift procedures
- Maintaining high standards across service, ambience, RSA, OH&S; and food safety
- Building strong customer relationships and helping create memorable experiences

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience as a Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar in a busy bar/restaurant environment
- Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Solid understanding of P&L;, COGS, GP margins and labour cost control
- A positive, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fun venue
- Available for nights, weekends and public holidays
- Valid RSA certificate
