Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation,

maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting work while ensuring compliance with Australian safety standards

and regulations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems and equipment

- Diagnose electrical faults and perform troubleshooting activities

- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams

- Install lighting systems, switchboards, safety switches, power points, and wiring systems

- Carry out electrical inspections and testing to ensure compliance

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance work

- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Australian standards and workplace safety regulations





- Use electrical testing equipment and hand/power tools safely and effectively

- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and team members

- Maintain accurate service records and reports

- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time

Skills & Experience Required

- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as an Electrician

- Relevant qualification such as Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent

- Current Electrical Licence preferred

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance procedures

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical plans

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

- Current driver licence preferred
