As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Small Engine Mechanic to join our team.

About the Role:
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of small engines and power equipment. You will work on products such as:

- Lawn mowers
- Chainsaws
- Concrete saws
- Generators
- Plate compactors
- Brush cutters and other outdoor power equipment

This role also offers variety, with opportunities to assist customers and support other areas of the business when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose faults and repair small engines and power equipment
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
- Ensure workshop tools and equipment are maintained and organised
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service
- Assist customers at the front counter when required
- Support sales and administrative tasks during busy periods
- Maintain a safe, clean,



and WHS-compliant workshop environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience servicing and repairing small engines and outdoor power equipment
- Strong mechanical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist across different areas of the business
- A commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

Desirable Qualifications

- Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Small Engine Mechanics, Automotive, Diesel Mechanics, or similar
- Forklift Licence
- Experience working with construction or landscaping equipment
