We are seeking a motivated, hardworking, and reliable Fibreglass Repair Technician to join our experienced and supportive team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and upgrading fibreglass components on semi-trailers and rigid truck bodies, contributing to the maintenance and quality of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Removing damaged components and preparing surfaces for repair
- Grinding, sanding, trimming, and cleaning surfaces to a high standard
- Fitting and installing current parts and equipment
- Working with fibreglass materials during repair and maintenance processes
- Maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and quality workmanship
- Keeping the work area safe, clean, and organised
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role (highly regarded)
- Strong experience working with fibreglass materials
- Experience with gel coat, resins,
and power tools
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in refrigerated semi-trailer manufacturing or repair
- 2-pack painting experience
