Geelong Cricket Club is seeking an enthusiastic and committed 2nd XI Coach to join our Female Program for the 2026/27 season. This is an exciting chance to help shape the development of emerging female cricketers within a high performing Premier Cricket environment.
About the Role
We are looking for a coach who is passionate about player development, team culture, and supporting the pathway for female athletes. The 2nd XI Coach will work closely with the Head Coach and Female Program leadership to deliver high‑quality training, match‑day guidance, and a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with weekly training sessions with a focus on skill development and game awareness
- Coach and manage the 2nd XI squad on match days
- Support individual player development plans
- Contribute to a strong,
inclusive team culture
- Collaborate with the Female Program coaching team
Ideal Candidate
- Coaching experience at junior pathways, senior, or Premier Cricket level
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Understanding of female player development
- Cricket Australia coaching accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
