About the Role
We're a growing last-mile delivery business looking for reliable, self-motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team. This role starts part-time, with genuine opportunity to move into full-time hours for the right person. This is stable, ongoing work with consistent rostered shifts — not gig work.
You'll be delivering parcels across an allocated route, working independently once you're set up for the day. We need someone who can manage their own time, stay on schedule, and think on their feet when things don't go to plan.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering parcels safely and efficiently to residential and commercial addresses (approx. 150–250 stops per day, route dependent)
- Operating a company-supplied van
- Manual handling of parcels and bags up to 23kg — loading, unloading, and carrying throughout the shift
- Managing your own time and pace to complete the route within the rostered window
- Problem-solving on the road — rerouting, access issues, and making sensible calls when a delivery doesn't go as planned
- Using a handheld device for navigation, scanning,
and delivery confirmation (training provided)
- Delivering excellent, friendly customer service
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable with repeated manual handling — lifting and carrying boxes and bags for extended periods
- Reasonable fitness level; this is an active, on-your-feet role
- Solid self-discipline and time management — able to work independently for most of the shift
- A proactive problem-solver who doesn't need step-by-step supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving history
- Available for part-time hours now, with flexibility to move to full-time
