We’re growing quickly and are now looking for an exceptional Project Manager who wants more than simply running jobs.

The Opportunity

Working directly with the Director, you’ll take ownership of our project delivery function.

You’ll be responsible for planning projects, coordinating crews, managing labour productivity, monitoring project costs and ensuring every project is delivered safely, profitably and to an exceptional standard.

You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions, improve systems and help shape how our business operates.

As Alas Construct continues to grow, this position has genuine progression into an Operations Manager role for the right person.

Your Responsibilities

Planning & Project Setup

- Conduct pre-site inspections.
- Review drawings and project scope.
- Develop construction programmes and delivery plans.
- Prepare weekly and monthly work schedules.
- Coordinate labour, plant and equipment requirements.
- Ensure projects are fully prepared before construction begins.

Project Delivery

- Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
- Monitor construction progress, quality and safety.




- Support Site Supervisors to keep projects running smoothly.
- Identify risks early and implement practical solutions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Labour & Commercial Performance

- Monitor labour productivity across all projects.
- Track labour costs against project budgets.
- Review project profitability and identify efficiencies.
- Manage variations and cost impacts.
- Provide regular reporting to the Director.

Subcontractor & Supplier Management

- Engage and manage subcontractors.
- Coordinate suppliers and material deliveries.
- Build robust relationships with subcontractors and key suppliers.
- Ensure works are completed to Alas Construct’s quality standards.

Quality & Handover

- Complete project inspections.
- Sign off completed works.
- Manage defect rectification.
- Ensure every project is delivered to a high standard before handover.

About You

You’ll likely have experience in:

- Commercial construction
- Civil construction
- Landscaping
- Infrastructure
- Project Management
- Site Management

Playground experience isn’t essential.

We’re looking for someone who can lead people, manage projects, make decisions and take ownership.





You’ll be commercially minded, highly organised and motivated by delivering exceptional outcomes.
