Sales & Marketing Professional – Food Import & Distribution
We are a privately owned food import and distribution company seeking a self-driven and hardworking Sales & Marketing Professional to manage and grow our extensive retail customer base. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for developing current key accounts in both ethnic and non-ethnic market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and expand relationships with existing retail customers while identifying and onboarding new business opportunities.
- Sales & Target Achievement: Meet and exceed set sales targets through proactive engagement and strategic selling.
- Marketing & Promotions: Execute marketing activities such as direct promotions, product tastings, and in-store sampling. Update retailers on promotions, new product launches, and special offers while ensuring proper display of company products and marketing materials (brochures, posters, leaflets, etc.).
- Customer Service & Business Development: Regularly interact with customers to take orders, assess stock levels, and explore growth opportunities.
- Payment & Order Follow-ups:
Respond to sales inquiries and follow up on outstanding payments via email, phone, and in-person visits.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience with a quick learning ability and strong interpersonal skills.
- Well-presented and proactive with a results-driven mindset and a passion for achieving sales targets.
- Fluency in English & Hindi is mandatory.
- Extensive knowledge of Adelaide and surrounding areas is essential.
- Daily driving is required (reimbursed for fuel and insurance expenses for using own car as per travel diary).
- Familiarity with South Asian food products is an advantage.
