About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Upholsterer / Motor Trimmer to join our growing specialist automotive manufacturing team. This role involves high-quality interior fit-outs for mobility vehicles, including seating systems, trims, and custom upholstery components.

This is not production-line trimming. Precision, pride in workmanship, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Automotive upholstery and trimming work (seats, cushions, panels, armrests, headrests.




- Cutting, sewing, shaping, and fitting vinyl, leather, fabrics, and foams
- Modifying and assembling custom seating systems
- Ensuring high finish standards and consistency across builds
- Maintaining a clean, protected, and organised work area
- Working collaboratively with engineering and fabrication teams

Desirable (but not essential)

- Experience with custom or specialist vehicle builds
- Experience trimming wheelchair-accessible or modified vehicles
- Trade qualification in Upholstery, Motor Trimming, or similar

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term, Subcontract, Casual, Temp to perm

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
