Senior Respiratory Physiotherapist

Permanent Grade 3 Respiratory Physiotherapist opportunity
Flexible part-time role (15.2 hours per week) supporting genuine work-life balance
Join a welcoming and supportive Community Health team across Ringwood East and Healesville

About the role

We have an opportunity for a Grade 3 Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our Care@Home Community Health program. In this specialist role, you will support adults living with chronic and complex respiratory conditions to remain healthy, independent and active in their own homes and communities. You will deliver protected, evidence-based therapeutic interventions including individual therapy, exercise interventions and airway clearance to our clients in our community health centres, within the client’s home, or via telehealth/phone.

Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will partner closely with the Hospital Admission Risk Program (HARP) team and the chronic disease nurses within the Health and Ageing team. As a senior clinician, you will enjoy a high level of autonomy while developing quality improvement initiatives. You will be supported by the Grade 4 Clinical Lead and work within a highly engaged team that values collaboration, innovation and excellence in community healthcare.

This is an outstanding opportunity to apply your specialist respiratory skills in a rewarding community setting where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of your clients every day.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.

A minimum of seven years' physiotherapy experience.
Current unrestricted Victorian Driver Licence.
Demonstrated clinical skills and experience aligned with the management of chronic respiratory patients including airway clearance, exercise/physical activity and self-management.
An understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries, delivery of safe and effective care, and Community Health target populations.
The ability to recognise, understand and report risk with sound judgement.
Experience working with adult and ageing clients is desirable.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
