The National Anti-Corruption Commission
The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) enhances integrity in the Commonwealth public sector by deterring, detecting and preventing corrupt conduct involving Commonwealth public officials. It does this through education, monitoring, investigation, reporting and referral.
NACC staff
- investigate allegations of corruption
- gather and analyse intelligence and data
- provide corruption prevention advice and support
- provide legal advice to support investigations
- deliver high quality corporate services
- are passionate about preventing corruption.
The Permanent and Temporary Transfer Register (s26)
The s26 register is open for candidates to register a general expression of interest for employment with the NACC. We are seeking existing ongoing APS employees who are appropriately skilled and experienced individuals interested in a temporary or permanent transfer to the NACC. Positions may be for non-ongoing or ongoing depending on operational requirements.
Vacancies may be identified in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney.

Your application will be considered until 30 June 2027. After this date, you will be required to reapply.

Eligibility
Employment with the NACC is subject to the following conditions:
- Citizenship – applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
- Security clearance – this is a Designated Security Assessment Position. The occupant of any position will be required to undergo and maintain a security clearance to Baseline, Negative Vetting 1 or Negative Vetting 2.
- Suitability assessment - the NACC must be satisfied that successful applicants are of suitable character. They must undergo a rigorous pre-employment suitability screening process that can be intrusive in nature including (but is not limited to) detailed background, character, employment, police and financial checks.
- Probation - a probation period will apply to a recent ongoing engagement in the Australian Public Service.
