Disability Support Workers Needed for a SIL Home! (Behavioural and Complex Needs)
Part Time and Casual | $36to $38 per hour plus penalty rates as per the SCHADS award | 6-8 hour Active Overnight Shifts.

At Affective Care, we are looking for motivated and dependable Support Workers to join our team in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home. You will work with several residents who have a range of disabilities, providing practical support that helps them live more independently and confidently.

About the Role
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be part of a supportive team, helping residents with their daily routines, personal care and life goals. Some days you might be cooking and sharing a meal, other days you could be heading out to the shops, appointments or social activities.

Key Duties

- Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning and household organisation
- Provide personal care including showering, grooming and hygiene support
- Assist with medication according to care plans
- Support residents in accessing the community for shopping, appointments and recreational activities
- Encourage independence through skill building and practical guidance




- Maintain accurate progress notes and report changes in needs or behaviour

Typical Shifts

- 6 to 8 hours
- Day, evening and overnight shifts available

What You Bring

- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience in SIL or residential care is highly regarded
