We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will provide engineering support for heavy construction equipment, work closely with our service and sales teams, and liaise with overseas manufacturers to assist with technical enquiries, product improvements and engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide mechanical engineering support for construction and earthmoving equipment across sales, service and after-sales operations.
- Analyse equipment performance, reliability and mechanical system issues and develop solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Investigate equipment, hydraulic and component failures, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct engineering assessments and recommend equipment upgrades, modifications and product improvements.
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers regarding technical issues, warranty matters and engineering solutions.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and OEM documentation to support troubleshooting and product support activities.




- Provide technical guidance and training to service technicians, customers and sales personnel.
- Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation and compliance records.
- Ensure equipment and engineering solutions comply with relevant Australian Standards, safety requirements and manufacturer specifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, performance and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience

- Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems used in heavy equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the construction, mining, agricultural or heavy equipment industry is an advantage but not essential.
