Join Our Community Foundation Team - Administration Coordinator

We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Administration Coordinator to support the work of our newly established foundation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who lives locally, enjoys working with people, has robust administrative skills, and would like to contribute to the development of our local community.

About the Role

The Administration Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Committee and assist with the day-to-day operations of the Foundation. This is a 12-month contract role, with flexible working from home and office arrangements for around 3 days per week initially, and the potential to become full-time and extend beyond 12 months. There will be review at 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with the foundation to establish and implement systems and processes
- Manage correspondence, emails and enquiries
- Prepare agendas, minutes and meeting papers
- Maintain corporate, operational and financial records, databases and filing systems
- Maintain digital content across the Foundation’s website and social media platforms
- Assist with marketing, promotional activities and newsletters




- Assist with grant application administration and reports
- Support committee members and volunteers
- Coordinate events, meetings and community activities
- General office and administrative duties

About You

You will have:

· Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong computer skills in common software applications
- Proficiency in digital systems and social media platforms
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement
- A commitment to supporting community initiatives
- The ability to work flexibly on occasional evenings or weekends

You will be required to hold a current driver’s licence, National Police Check and Working with Children check
