About the Role
As the Property Support Officer, you will provide administrative and operational support across a broad range of property and tenure functions, including residential tenancy management, leases and licences, land tenure matters, facility use agreements, and property transactions.
You will work closely with internal teams, tenants, contractors, community groups, government agencies, and other stakeholders to support efficient and compliant service delivery,

Key Responsibilities:
Residential Tenancy & Housing
- Support the administration of Council’s residential housing portfolio, including tenancy applications, agreements, inspections, rent reviews, maintenance requests, and tenancy exits.
- Maintain accurate tenancy records and coordinate housing compliance activities.
- Liaise with tenants, contractors, agencies, and internal stakeholders to support compliant and timely housing outcomes.
Agreements, Leases & Facility Use
- Assist with the preparation and administration of leases, licences, permits, and facility use agreements.
- Monitor agreement renewals, insurance requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Support stakeholder enquiries and ensure fair and transparent use of Council property and facilities.
Land Tenure & Property Administration
- Support land tenure matters, property transactions,
easements, reserves, and related documentation.
- Undertake research, record checks, mapping requests, and due diligence activities.
- Maintain accurate property and tenure records.
Customer Service & Reporting
- Provide professional customer service and respond to stakeholder enquiries.
- Maintain accurate records across Council systems and prepare routine reports and correspondence.
- Support audit, compliance, financial, and risk reporting activities.
