Escape the winter chill and discover a side of Queensland few ever get to see. This short-term relief baking role is based in a remote, close-knit coastal community in Far North Queensland — flights and accommodation fully covered.

- Short Term Contract-up to 12 weeks approximately

About the role
Are you a talented Baker looking for a new short-term adventure in a stunning location?

What you'll be doing

- Prepare a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods to meet customer orders and maintain stock levels
- Operate and maintain baking equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies

What we're looking for

- Qualified Baker with demonstrated experience to produce baked goods including dough from scratch.




- Proven expertise in producing a wide range of baked goods to a high standard
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality
- Strong time management and organisational skills to work efficiently under pressure
- Possession of a current Drivers License
- Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Full Australian Working rights
- Desirable: Experience working in remote communities or with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
