Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for one of our major clients located in Cairns.

The important parts:

- Day shift – Monday to Friday (6am - 2.30pm). Possibility for overtime.
- Temporary with view to permanency
- Immediate start available
- Paying above award rates - Cairns location

What you will be required to do:

- Safely operate forklifts to transport large, heavy and oversized loads
- Load and unload trucks, containers and freight in accordance with site procedures
- Move products and materials efficiently throughout the yard
- Carry out pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Ensure loads are secured and handled safely to prevent damage
- Work closely with teams from different departments to meet daily production targets
- Maintain a clean and safe work workplace while adhering to all WHS policies and procedures

To be successful in the role you will:

- Hold a current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) – essential
- Have extensive forklift operating experience in industrial, warehouse or transport environments
- Be confident transporting large,



heavy or awkward loads safely and efficiently
- Demonstrate excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail
- Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have a positive attitude with a strong work ethic
