We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant with periodontal or surgical experience to join our dedicated team.
Language Requirement: Proficiency in English and Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly preferred to support patient communication.
About the Role
Working closely with our specialist periodontist, your streamlined responsibilities will include:
- Surgical Assistance: Providing high-quality chairside support during specialised periodontal and implant surgical procedures.
- Infection Control: Managing instrument reprocessing and strict clinical sterilisation workflows to industry standards.
- Surgery Preparation: Preparing and turning over surgeries, equipment, and specialized surgical stock.
- Patient Care: Assisting patients with pre- and post-operative information to ensure a calm experience.
- Clinical Records: Helping with clinical documentation, digital records,
and minor administrative support when required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must bring:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience, with preferred exposure to periodontal or surgical workflows.
- Qualifications: Completed Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting.
- Language Proficiency: Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to speak in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
- Clinical Standards: A meticulous understanding of infection control and clinical protocols.
- Work Rights: Full, unrestricted working rights within Australia.
