The Role:

The Event Operations Lead is a linchpin role within Sydneywide Hire Group, requiring a proactive leader who is equally comfortable in a management meeting and behind the wheel of a heavy rig. With your HR Truck License and warehouse operation skills, you'll not only strategize and streamline our event logistics but also directly contribute to the physical aspect of event setup and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead the planning and execution of event logistics, ensuring seamless operations from warehouse to venue.
- Actively participate in the physical setup and breakdown of event installations, leading by example.
- Utilize your HR Truck License to transport equipment safely and efficiently.
- Lead a dedicated team, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and proactive problem-solving.
- Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, equipment maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to event management.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and team performance.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrable experience in event operations with hands-on expertise in managing large-scale events.




- Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Truck License with a clean driving record.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems and practices.
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with a solid emphasis on team development.
- Resilience and flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of event schedules and locations.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Willingness to work unconventional hours in line with event requirements.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
