About the role

Eneraque is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Rocklea, Queensland. You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of complex power generation and distribution projects, owning safety, programme, commercial outcomes, quality, and stakeholder confidence.

This role suits someone who thrives in high-accountability environments and can bring clarity and discipline to delivery from early planning and procurement through to commissioning, handover, and lessons learned.

What you’ll be doing

- Own project delivery from award to handover: scope, programme, budget, quality, and HSE

- Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, procurement plans, and cost tracking

- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, service partners)

- Drive disciplined risk management, change control, and clear reporting cadence

- Manage key stakeholders (clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, internal engineers) with confident communication

- Ensure project closeout is done properly with handover packs, defects, documentation, and lessons learned

- Identify process improvements that lift delivery performance and repeatability

Projects you’ll work on

You’ll deliver solutions across Eneraque’s core portfolio (including, depending on project needs):

- Critical power generation assets and fuel systems

- Enclosures/switchrooms and distribution integration

- Hybrid solutions including BESS

- Renewable gas / biogas-related infrastructure

- Service integration and long-term support pathways

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

- 5+ years’ experience delivering complex projects (power/energy/utilities/industrial infrastructure ideal)





- Strong commercial and contractual instincts (variations, claims, subcontractor performance, cost-to-complete)

- Confident stakeholder management with a calm, solutions-focused style

- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and keep delivery on track

- Commitment to safety and quality, no shortcuts.

Nice-to-haves:

- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar

- PMP / Prince2 / AIPM (or working toward)

- Experience delivering critical infrastructure for government, data centres, utilities, industrial clients, or Tier-1 environments

What success looks like (first 90 days)

- Build credibility fast through transparent planning, transparent reporting, and strong site/contractor rhythm

- Run projects with disciplined execution and clear go/no-go thinking (pragmatic risk awareness, no surprises)

- Lift project closeout quality, so the team learns and improves, and clients feel confident coming back
