About the Role
We are seeking a female Support Worker to assist an NDIS participant who has specific personal, cultural, and therapeutic preferences. This role requires someone with experience in Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and solid trauma-informed practice.
- Support a participant with DID
- Provide emotional regulation support and grounding
- Assist with daily routines and community access
- Maintain clear communication and consistent support
- Participant has requested a worker with a cultural background and interpersonal style similar to their own
About You
- Experience with DID or complex trauma
- Calm, patient,
and emotionally regulated
- Strong boundaries and reliability
- Trauma-informed practice skills
Requirements
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Community Services, Mental Health, or equivalent(preferred)
- All relevant mandatory competencies
- Driver’s license
- Medication Administration Competency
