The Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core or Proficient) to join our growing team.

You will work with participants with diverse and complex needs, delivering high-quality assessments and behaviour support plans aligned with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards
Commission framework.

This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and strong clinical support — without unrealistic KPIs or excessive caseloads.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) consistent with NDIS requirements
- Develop and review Behaviour Support Plans, including interim and comprehensive plans
- Work proactively to reduce and eliminate restrictive practices
- Collaborate with participants, families, support workers, and other professionals
- Provide clear, practical strategies that support skill development and independence
- Monitor progress, collect data, and adapt strategies as required
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and reporting
- Participate in supervision, peer consultation, and team discussions
- Uphold professional, ethical, and legislative standards at all times

About You





You will be someone who values quality practice, reflective work, and participant-centred outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Allied Health, or related field
- NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core or Proficient)
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and NDIS restrictive practices framework
- Robust communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed

Desirable:

- Experience supporting people with complex behaviours and/or psychosocial disability
- Experience navigating NDIS reporting and compliance requirements

Work Location

Hybrid role based in Western Sydney, with a combination of remote work and community visits.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 12 – 38 per week
