Role Duties:
- Installing stormwater drainage systems.
- Reading and interpreting construction plans and levels.
- Setting out drainage lines and pipe grades.
- Excavating and preparing trenches in accordance with specifications.
- Laying, aligning and joining drainage pipes.
- Installing pits, manholes and associated drainage structures.
- Testing completed drainage systems for alignment and watertightness.
- Operating drainage-related equipment and using laser levels where required.
- Ensuring drainage works comply with engineering specifications and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Drainer, Labourer,
or Pipelayer in a civil construction environment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Valid Construction Blue/White Card.
