NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (Independent Subcontractor)

Bring your own participants. Maintain your independence. Work under a registered NDIS provider.

LINKD Disability Services is seeking experienced NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our team as independent subcontractors.

This opportunity is designed for practitioners who already have their own Behaviour Support participants or established referral pathways and are looking to continue growing their own business while delivering services under the registration of a supportive, registered NDIS provider.

This is not an employment position. You will operate under your own ABN as an independent subcontractor and manage your own caseload and schedule.

About the role

As a subcontractor, you will:

- Deliver Positive Behaviour Support services to your own participants.
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs).
- Develop Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.
- Complete behaviour support reviews and outcome reporting.
- Provide implementation support, coaching and education to families and support teams.
- Liaise with participants, families, Support Coordinators, allied health professionals and other stakeholders.
- Maintain professional clinical records that meet NDIS, legislative and professional requirements.

- Flexible working arrangements with no minimum hours.
- Fortnightly payments upon receipt of a valid invoice and completed clinical documentation.

Please note: LINKD does not guarantee referrals, participant allocations, minimum hours or income. This opportunity is intended for practitioners who already have their own participants or are actively developing their own referral network.

Essential requirements

Applicants must have:

- Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist).
- Minimum 12 months’ experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Current ABN.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Public Liability Insurance.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (where applicable).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
- Excellent written communication and report writing skills.
- Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support, the NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Commission requirements.




- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.

Highly regarded

- An existing Behaviour Support caseload.
- Established referral relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers or allied health professionals.
- Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours of concern.
- Experience working with both children and adults.
- Knowledge of regulated restrictive practices and the NDIS Behaviour Support framework.
