Female Support Worker Needed – Noble Park North Area

We are currently seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Female Support Worker to support a young male NDIS participant with complex psychosocial disability and Moderate Intellectual Disability.

About the Participant:

The participant requires high-level support with:

community access,

emotional regulation,

attending appointments,

daily routine prompting,

social support,

and engagement in meaningful activities.

The participant experiences anxiety, paranoia, emotional overwhelm, and requires a calm, structured, and supportive approach.

Requirements:

Female support worker only

Must have a reliable car and valid driver’s licence

Must be comfortable transporting participant to appointments and community activities

Experience working with psychosocial disability, mental health, autism, or intellectual disability preferred

Calm, patient, skilled, and emotionally regulated approach

Strong communication and boundary-setting skills

Ability to provide active and engaging support throughout shifts

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)

First Aid & CPR preferred

Support Tasks Include:

Community access and transport

Supporting participant to attend appointments





Prompting with routine and daily activities

Encouraging social engagement and participation

Emotional reassurance and de-escalation support

Supporting participant to engage in meaningful goals including education, fitness, and community participation

Location:

Noble Park North VIC

Required compliance

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
- Working With Children Check (Employment) (optional)
- First Aid (current)
- COVID-19 vaccination compliance (as applicable)
- Desirable: Cert III/IV in Individual Support/Disability (or similar)
- Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
