Location: Tully, QLD & surrounding areas

Position Type: Casual / Part-Time (Flexible schedule, approx. 6 hours per assignment)

Pay Rate: Paid in accordance with the Road Transport and Distribution Award

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HR Truck Driver with a manual endorsement to handle local transport and delivery runs Tully to surrounding regions.

This role offers flexible, short shifts (approx. 6 hours per job/run), making it ideal for experienced local drivers looking for extra hours, flexible work-life balance, or supplementary driving work.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate and maneuver a Heavy Rigid (HR) manual truck .
- Perform daily pre-start and post-start vehicle safety checks.
- Assist with loading and securing freight safely prior to departure, ensuring all safety standards are met.
- Complete required delivery paperwork, logbooks, and consignment documentation accurately.
- Provide a courteous and professional service when interacting with suppliers.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Licence: Current Heavy Rigid (HR)



Unrestricted / Manual Driver’s License (Required).
- Work Rights: Must be an Australian Resident.
- Experience: Proven experience driving HR manual trucks with a clean, safe driving record.
- Location: Based in or around Tully to Cairns, QLD
- Physical Capability: Fit and comfortable handling light loading/unloading tasks as needed.
- Reliability: Strong punctual work ethic and high safety awareness.
