A leading global engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter with a strong industrial background to join their specialist workshop team based in Eagle Farm, Queensland .

You’ll work alongside an experienced team supporting major customers across Australia, delivering high-quality solutions where safety, reliability, and technical expertise are critical.

About the Role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for completing electrical fitting, testing, repair, and troubleshooting activities within a specialised workshop environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Carrying out electrical fitting tasks including troubleshooting, repairs, assembly, and testing
- Performing electrical inspections, testing, and recording results in line with required standards
- Diagnosing faults and identifying issues with industrial electrical equipment
- Completing repairs and maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability
- Interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
- Ensuring all service records, reports, and quality documentation are completed accurately
- Checking components, materials,



and equipment required to complete workshop activities
- Following strict safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A recognised Electrical Fitter trade qualification
- Previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing, engineering, or heavy industry environment
- Strong fault-finding and electrical diagnostic skills
- Experience working with industrial equipment, machinery, or electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and delivering high-standard workmanship
