Essential Requirements

- Current HR Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- Strong understanding of secure drilling practices
- Assist the directional driller with setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling rigs
- Ability to complete manual site duties and labour including trenching, site clean-up, and loading/unloading gear
- Ability or willingness to learn, to read, understand, and interpret BYDA (Before You Dig Australia) plans
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Willingness to assist with service location and protection
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safety
- Willing to complete pre-employment medical and police check

Highly Regarded

- Excavator operating experience
- Vacuum excavation experience
- Experience using F2 locating systems / Sondes
- Ability to track and map bore paths




- Experience operating Vermeer and/or Ditch Witch drilling rigs
- Current first aid & CPR certificate
- Experience locating in rock drilling, locating, and mud motor operations
- Utility service / HDD tracking locating experience
- Experience working around existing underground utilities
- Knowledge of drilling fluid and mixing systems
- Knowledge of routine maintenance and servicing of drilling equipment

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour

Experience:

- HDD/Civil Constuction industry: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (Required)
- HR MR or MC Truck Licence (Required)
