About the Role

As a Swim Teacher, you'll teach children from babies through to school-aged swimmers while creating a safe, fun and encouraging learning environment.





You'll be responsible for:

- Delivering engaging swimming lessons
- Helping children build water confidence and life-saving skills
- Providing regular feedback to parents
- Ensuring lessons are safe, enjoyable and well organised
- Working closely with fellow instructors and centre management
- Creating a positive experience for every family who visits our centre

Experience teaching swimming is highly regarded but not essential for the right candidate.

Essential Requirements

Successful applicants will need to hold (or be willing to obtain) the following qualifications:

- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (including CPR)
- SISSS00132 – Swimming and Water Safety Teacher




- SISCAQU027 – Swimming and Water Safety Teacher of Infants and Toddlers (required for teaching children under five years of age and can be completed after obtaining the Swimming and Water Safety Teacher qualification).

Competitive hourly rates based on experience and qualifications.
