Casual Educators Wanted – Before and After School Care

Join our friendly BASC team and help create a fun, safe and welcoming space for children before and after school.

We are looking for casual educators to join our Before and After School Care team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with primary school-aged children, brings a positive attitude, and is happy to get involved in games, activities, craft, sport and everyday routines.

About the Role

● Casual shifts available during before school care and after school care sessions.

● Support children to feel safe, included and engaged.

● Assist with indoor and outdoor activities, play, routines and supervision.

● Work as part of a supportive and welcoming team.

● Help maintain a clean, safe and organised environment.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

● Is friendly, reliable and enthusiastic.

● Enjoys working with children and being part of their day.

● Can communicate well with children, families and other educators.

● Is flexible, punctual and willing to learn.





● Can work calmly and responsibly in a busy school care environment.

Requirements

● Current Working with Children Check.

● First aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training.

● Foundations of Child Protection Training Certificate.

● Previous experience in BASC, OSHC, childcare, education, sport, coaching or youth work is a bonus, but not essential.

● A genuine interest in supporting children’s wellbeing, play and learning.

Pay: $30.38 – $36.90 per hour
