OVERVIEW OF ROLE: Section 3 GAMSAT Academic Coordinator (Online)
Fraser's Medical is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable team leader to manage & coordinate our Section 3 GAMSAT Team. In this role, you will work closely with students & especially staff to ensure our Section 3 Classes, Tutorials & Questions are of the highest quality to effectively prepare students for the GAMSAT. This will involve a combination of academic review of materials, setting up systems for the team to use, checking in with team members regarding teaching, rostering classes & overseeing the development of our Section 3 curriculum.
Commitment: 10-15 hours per week. This will vary depending on demand from our GAMSAT students.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should:
- Have consistent availability week-on-week
- Have experience in GAMSAT management / other forms of management related to the teaching field
- Preferably undertaken the GAMSAT and performed highly, however, this is not necessary. If from a non-medical background, proficiency in an area of specialty relevant to Section 3 of the GAMSAT is preferable. (Eg: higher level studies in sciences)
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Experience in GAMSAT tutoring
- Demonstrates exceptional communication skills and ability to convey content succinctly and clearly
- Demonstrates strong leadership & coordination capabilities as a manager
- Performance in interview following acceptance of application
