As a horse collector, you’ll be responsible for respectfully collecting deceased horses, ensuring their dignified handling and care.

Duties of a Horse Collector:

- Navigation of daily runs with efficiency
- Operate cremation and ashes processing equipment
- Collect deceased Horse in a respectful and dignified manner
- Collect pets from owner’s homes
- Return pet ashes to client’s homes and vet clinics
- Ensure the vehicle and work areas are maintained at the highest standards
Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate effectively with empathy

About you:

- Have a passion for animals and comfortable providing aftercare services for pets
- Hold a full driver’s license (heavy rigid) with no restrictions




- Lift up to 25kgs unassisted and have ability to perform a wide variety of manual labour tasks
- Able to reverse a trailer – similar size to a horse float. Practical demonstration of reversing trailer may be required.
- Must be available to work on weekends, ad hoc basis during weekdays
- Comfortable working in a sensitive environment and being exposed to grief
