Your Opportunity

Primero Group is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Brisbane Office. The role will play a key part in the growth of the Primero Brisbane Office by managing all phases of Project Delivery, from Tenders and Estimates, through to design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. The successful Project Manager will also be responsible for managing client and stakeholder engagement including managing expectations and enhancement of the company’s reputation and standing in the market.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Manage time and cost related to the project outcomes
- Responsible for accurate and appropriate planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects




- Complete execution of the project from inception to practical completion
- Meet all role-specific HSE responsibilities, accountabilities and KPI’s detailed in the Primero HSW Management System Manual
- Day-to-day management of project budgets, resources and staffing to meet objectives and time frames

What You ‘Can Do’

- Previous experience at the PM level & successfully leading direct hire multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
- Previous experience leading EPC, EPCM and/or Design & Construct projects in the mining sector.
- Prior experience in Tendering for and Estimating current projects
- A resolute commitment to delivering your project safely.
- Exceptional commercial and negotiation skills.
- High level analytical ability used to solve complex problems.
- Proficient in the use of Project management tools such as MS Project or ideally Primavera P6.
- High level leadership, mentoring and people management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
