The Role

We are expanding our Product team in Sydney and hiring an exceptional Senior Product Designer to design, research and prototype new student experiences as Studiosity scales and improves its education platform.

Studiosity is looking to continue its ethical “human-in-the-loop” use of AI to improve both the student and educator experience. This role will support this ethos and architect modular learning systems that improves the students' learning journeys; and also facilitates educators with information and tools.

This role is central to Studiosity’s modular platform growth and its strategy to provide institutions educational tools. Help harness our 20 years of improving student outcomes across hundreds of institutions and scale our platform.

What you will do

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer,



you will join Studiosity’s exceptional Product team and participate in the designing of market leading, generative AI powered education technology solutions.

The role advertised has ownership of the design aspects of user (student) experience across the Studiosity platform. There is a need that you understand platform and ecosystem strategies as evidenced in the wider SaaS industry, and be driving that strategy as you execute within your channel.

This is a senior design role in the establishment of a wider education ecosystem.

Design and maintain the leading edge of Gen AI in education to contribute optimally to Studiosity’s mission, product roadmap and ambitious growth plans.

This is a role that works on AI, not just with AI.

About you

You’re an experienced SaaS product designer (around 7–10+ years) who has helped shape multi-product platforms, and ideally, broader ecosystems of 2nd- and 3rd-party value. You’re as comfortable in the details of great interaction design as you are thinking in systems, and you know how to translate complex technology into simple, elegant experiences.

You bring:

- Senior-level craft – Deep mastery of Figma (advanced visual design, prototyping, variables, auto‑layout) and a solid eye for interaction and UX detail.
- Data storytelling – You can turn dense learning analytics into clear, meaningful dashboards and flows that help educators act, not guess.
- Service blueprinting – You’re confident mapping multi-sided journeys (students, professors, university administrators) across channels and touchpoints.
- Clear communication – You can explain the “why” behind your decisions, influence stakeholders, and frame technical constraints as user-centric opportunities.




- Evidence-based design – You’re comfortable using qualitative pedagogy research and quantitative product analytics to drive and defend design decisions.

Your background shows:

- SaaS product design best practice in real-world, shipped products.
- Student/user-centric thinking – you care deeply about the quality of the learning experience, and know how to design intuitive, seamless journeys that differentiate an AI-powered product.
- Familiarity with large language models – you understand what LLMs are, how they behave at scale, and what it means to design products on AI outputs, not just with AI tools.
- Working knowledge of cloud-native SaaS – enough understanding of cloud concepts, scalability and deployment models to collaborate effectively and design for a platform and ecosystem, not just a single feature.
- Platform thinking – you see your product area as one part of a larger whole, and can design in a way that supports extensibility and reuse.
- Understanding of Ethical AI – you’re thoughtful about AI for learning versus AI for answers, and you’re motivated to design in ways that meet real-world ethical and regulatory expectations.
- Familiarity with agile ways of working and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and data teams.
