Male Disability Support Worker – Geelong, VIC

Unmatched Support Services is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Male Disability Support Worker to support a male participant based in the Geelong, VIC area.

About the Participant

The participant is a male with Autism and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). He is sports-oriented, enjoys staying active, and values community participation and recreational activities.

We are looking for a support worker who can build a positive and respectful rapport with the participant while encouraging his independence, wellbeing, and participation in the community.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will assist the participant with:

- Community access and participation
- Recreational and sports-related activities
- Supporting independence and daily living
- Encouraging social engagement and meaningful activities
- Providing person-centred support based on the participant's needs
- Building a positive and professional working relationship

About You

The ideal candidate will:

- Be a Male Disability Support Worker
- Have experience supporting people with Autism and/or Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
- Be patient, reliable, respectful, and compassionate
- Enjoy sports, outdoor activities, or an active lifestyle




- Be confident supporting community access and recreational activities
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be committed to promoting participant choice, independence, and wellbeing
- Be able to build a strong qualified rapport with the participant

Essential Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Previous disability support experience
- Australian working rights
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle is preferred
