Senior Farm Hand / Jack of All Trades Wanted
Think you've got what it takes to fill some pretty big boots?
Our Senior Farm Hand has unexpectedly had to move on after losing his accommodation and being unable to find somewhere close enough to the farm.
While we're sad to see him go, we're excited to find the right person to join our team.
This isn't your average farm job.
We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, loves working outdoors and isn't afraid to tackle whatever the day throws at them. If you can drive a tractor, handle livestock, fix a fence, build something from scratch and still have a laugh at the end of the day, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
Most of your time will be spent at our Clarendon Farm, with occasional working bees and larger projects at our 450-acre Myponga property.
No two days are ever the same.
One day you could be:
- Driving the tractor.
- Feeding livestock.
- Drenching or crutching sheep.
- Moving cattle.
- Repairing fences and gates.
- Building shelters, yards and other farm infrastructure.
- Fixing water troughs or tackling general maintenance jobs.
- Helping keep both farms looking their best.
If something needs doing... chances are you'll be involved!
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is reliable, honest and trustworthy, has a strong work ethic, loves animals and enjoys working outdoors.
You'll be someone who:
- Takes pride in their work.
- Uses initiative and enjoys solving problems.
- Is happy to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
- Can work independently when required.
Experience with the following would be highly regarded:
- Tractor and farm machinery operation.
- Cattle and sheep handling.
- Drenching, crutching and general livestock husbandry.
- Fencing and general property maintenance.
- Building and repair work.
- General handyman skills.
About Our Team
You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together.
You'll work alongside people with a range of practical skills, including a retired builder, so there's always another interesting project on the go. Everyone mucks in, helps each other out and takes pride in keeping our farms running smoothly.
The Details

Sound Like You?
If you're the sort of person who sees something broken and fixes it before anyone has to ask, enjoys working outdoors, loves animals and likes every day to be a little different, we'd love to hear from you.
Come and join a team where hard work is appreciated, everyone supports each other and no two days are ever the same.
