The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Chef or Cook who enjoys preparing quality meals in a busy kitchen. You'll become part of a close-knit team where your skills, creativity, and commitment to outstanding food will be valued.
Your Key Duties
Prepare and present consistently high-quality meals.
Assist with developing seasonal dishes and daily specials.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance procedures.
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and reduce food wastage.
Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and operating efficiently.
Work effectively during busy lunch and dinner services.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook, ideally in a hotel, pub, or bistro environment.
A solid understanding of food handling and safety practices.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A genuine enthusiasm for producing quality meals.
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification is desirable, although experienced applicants without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.
