Saffron Restaurant & Bar is now seeking applications from experienced and passionate chefs to join our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of produce handling, stock control, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Ability to complete all assigned tasks in a timely and organised manner
- Competency in preparing and cooking both lunch and dinner services
- Ability to anticipate and attend to guest needs promptly
- Strong recipe knowledge and consistent execution of all menu items
- Understanding and adherence to HACCP standards and food safety practices
- Positive attitude with the ability to maintain a harmonious team environment
- Commitment to high standards and leading by example
